Is there a way to use Facebook native posting and organic posting without paying for it to get new clients? The answer is yes, but it is difficult and time-consuming.
Back in 2010 through maybe 2012, you could reach a decent amount of people on Facebook for free by posting it natively. But now, Facebook has evolved into a pay to play platform. I can’t really say this is a great way to invest your time and effort in the hopes of getting new clients.
With that said, I like to post a lot of things on Facebook. Just because some people see it on my business page on Facebook. The reality is, only 1% or 2% of the people who follow my page ever see any individual post.
When you post, do it right
When you do post something on social media, do it right. Make sure the posts are extremely valuable and try to get a lot of people to like it. Encourage comments on the post and comment back. From there, maybe more people will do it and if it is actually valuable, they might share the post.
There is not a really good way to do this. In all honesty, the boost button or paying for Facebook ads is really the best way to make this work. It was designed this way for a reason. If you have a lot of followers and a lot of free time on your hands, it could work out for you.
Instagram Stories
I have been doing a lot with Instagram stories. It seems to be working well and while I am still working on the content because it is a new concept for me, I think this is great.
I get online and have 15 seconds to give you tips or whatever. While 15 seconds sounds like nothing, try giving a message that lasts 15 seconds. It is not as easy as you think. It is like a picture and it takes a little practice to come up with what you want to say for 15 seconds. It is fun and effective. Best of all, it is really cheap right now.
So this is my take on social media of the day. Give it a try and see what you think.
